This is going to be a 7 part course on how to run your own business online.  First, you must have an idea of what you are going to sell either it be a product or a service. Try thinking of what you know and are good at.  Say you have a lot of knowledge about cars.  Now you must decide whether you are going to sell a car product or just offer advertising on your site about car knowledge.  Both are good in their own ways.  Know you will need a domain name in order to market and get people to your website.  Try to pick something which is short, catchy, and easy to remember.  Prefferably a .com  domain.  Now go to godaddy.com and register it.  This is the end of part 1 of how to start a website and make money off of the internet.
